Westport Property Sold

A 36,000 sf three-story office building at 500 Post Road East in Westport, CT was sold to a New York based investment group for $11,575,000. The property was sold by Westport East Real Estate an affiliate of Westport-based Paragon Realty Group. Robert D. Lewis, of Prudential Connecticut Commercial Real Estate represented the buyer.

David Livshin, President/CEO of The Dagar Group of Fishkill, NY assumed management responsibilities for the building after it was purchased. The same group purchased the 90,000 sf Plaza West office building at 100 Mill Plain Road in Danbury in April.

The 36,000 sf office building was built in 1978 and is leased as the corporate headquarters for the Terex Corporation. It sits on 1.2 acres with an additional .65 acre parking lot, in close proximity to downtown Westport. Glen Repko of Dagar, will be responsible for the management of the property.
