Mid-Valley Mall sold to Tarrytown companyMichael Levensohn September 11, 2004 - The Mid-Valley Mall has been sold to DLC Management Corp. of Tarrytown for $27.8 million. The 254,000-square-foot shopping center on North Plank Road is anchored by a 73,000-square-foot Price Chopper supermarket. The mall's previous owner, Mid-Valley Mall Associates LLC, is an affiliate of The Praedium Group, a real-estate investment firm based in Manhattan. DLC Management did not immediately return a call seeking comment. The center was built in stages beginning in the late 1950s. A facade overhaul and other improvements were made last year in preparation for the sale, said David Livshin, president of The Dagar Group Ltd., which had handled leasing and management for the mall. |
